When i open the tab bookmarks i want my bookmarks. Instead I get a list with new options, like: ' show all my bookmarks' or 'make a bookmark for this page'.

In my earlier version of firefox i could click on ' bookmarks' and i would simply get a list of my bookmarks. NOw it opens a new 'tab' with more options, like 'show all book makrs' or ' make a bookmark for this page. I prefer to have a list of my bookmarks right away. How can i fix that?

Have you tried displaying your bookmars on your browser's toolbar?

See the attached screenshot.

Right click anywhere on your addressbar > click bookmark toolbar.

This will bring all your bookmarks on your addressbar like shown in the screenshot.

Alternatively, you call also do following trick: Press CTRL+SHIFT+B this will open up a popup box for bookmark options. From here, click and drag the Bookmark Menu on your menubar area as shown in the second screenshot.

Let me know if either of these help you.

You should still be able to see the bookmarks in the Bookmarks menu.

Do you mean the toolbar button to open the bookmarks in the sidebar?

You can find "View Bookmarks Sidebar" in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list and in the View menu. There is a Sidebars button in the Customize palette that you can drag on a toolbar.

The Classic Theme Restorer extension adds a button to open the bookmarks sidebar directly to the Customize palette.
