Hi SeanATC, Have you tried with Some Malware Removal Tools ? Like '''Adware''' '''Hitman Pro''' or '''MalwareBytes''' ? If not ,please do a try with them . Also there might be chance that this comes due to express installation of recently softwares. So, dig into that also by system control panel and search for the recently installed software. Now one thing you can also do from firefox itself that : type '''about:config''' into url bar and hit enter . the next screen may ask you about warranty violation but as of now click on 'yes'. Now in search bar write '''browser.sear''' and click on reset[by right click] '''browser.search.defaultenginename''' onto this. similarly reset others too : * browser.search.defaultenginename.US * browser.search.order.1 * browser.search.order.2 * browser.search.order.3 * browser.startup.homepage after this ,goto '''about:addons''' and remove if there any instance of '''mysearch''' (in Extensions tab). Now restart your browser and see that search url changed or not.
