when I try to open firefox the program opens but will stay minized and cannot be expanded
Firefox opens but remains minimized on the task bar. I cannot expand the program to actually browse the web and do anything additional. In the picture I moused over firefox it shows to be open but cannot be expanded.

You may have a corrupt xulstore.json file. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/changes-toolbars-and-window-sizes-are-not-saved
