Logout from AOL freemail directs me to the AOL homepage, how do I force Firefox to direct me elsewhere?

Verizon (in their money-grabbing wisdom) has transferred my email accounts to AOL.com. Ignoring all the other problems with this ad-heavy site, their crappy spam filter forces me to often check for valid email being treated as spam. When I logout, I am re-directed to what appears to be the AOL homepage (AOL.com) which is nothing more than a nagging set of ads.

I have tried using "Block Site" but all it does is block AOL.com. I would prefer to be re-directed to my homepage (google.com).

Side info:

    FireFox 52.0 (64-bit)
Windows 8.1 Pro (64-bit) [Note: Tried Windows 10 but couldn't find anything good to say about it.]

Any solutions or suggestions.

P.S. I am looking at shifting all my email to various Gmail accounts but that will take awhile.

Thanks

That is done by the website. When logging out, most sites send you to the main or log-in page.
