When I send or forward certain emails (no pattern to what I'm trying to send) two email addresses in the Group, apparently randomly selected, are bounced back with some application generated message. When I send or forward the same email to each address separately, they sail right through. This error comes and goes. I'm using Thunderbird v 52.9.1 (32 bit). My lists are small, probably no more than 20 addresses.

Thanks in advance,

jbacinti

What you can and can not do with a mail account depends a lot on your mail provider. Some limit the number of mails you can send in a day, other the number per hour and some limit the number in a single email. or just about any combination of that and message size you can think of. The rules are there are no rules, except those imposed by the mail provider.

For example, gmail limits received mail to 60 per minute. and sending 500email.

These are on the generous end of the spectrum. ISP's tend to be far more regulated. So what mail provider are you dealing with.
