Hi there,

sorry for the late reply but neither the Kapserski - Addon nor any other Plugin / Add-on was the reason. The suggestion with the new profile brought me an idea. I did the following:

1. MozBackup for the whole Profile 2. Delete Cookies and web-site Data: problem still there 3. Deinstallation of Firefox and installation of a new, empty firefox: Problem solved 4. Restore Profile from Backup without Cookies and web-site Data: Problem back 5: Profile deleted again: Problem solved -> something in the profile is causing the Problem 6. Restore without History and General Settings: Problem solved 7. Profile deleted again and restored without History: Problem back 8. Profile deleted again and restored without General Settings: Problem solved

So, finally something in the General Settings was causing the Problem. Hope to help anyone with the detailed solution.

Hi FreeMcD,

I did what you suggested, but It didn't help. I also reinstalled Firefox - but no Change. I got a new Crash-Report for you:

What else can you suggest?

Additional Info: After I closed Firefox, there are still 3 processes visible in the Task Manager. While Firefox is running, I got 8 for 2 Windows. Is this normal?

Are you using "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear session data?

Does it has effect if you disable this feature?

You can create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
