support.mozilla.org NO LONGER OFFERS me the ability to log in to the site. (I have 68.0.1, NEVER saw this behavior before today.) ALL I WANT is a SIMPLE, STANDARD BROWSER with access to Firefox extensions that is RELIABLE. As of today 25-Aug-2019, Firefox is NOT.

Yes, a cookie should keep you logged in. If you want to sign out, hover the mouse pointer over your user picture at the upper right corner (you may need to scroll to the top of the page) and a menu should drop-down with various options, including "Sign Out".

Hi Bill, when you go to https://support.mozilla.org/ the site should first redirect to an address including your locale (for example, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/) and then a Log In/Sign Up button should appear in the upper right corner of the page:

After you sign in, the display changes:

Anyway, it seems you actually managed to sign in, since you posted a new question.

Can you elaborate and give more detail?

What login are you talking about ?

(Sorry, we've tangented ;) ) The site seems to allow me in *without* a per-session login; is that intentional?? I speculate that there's a cookie remembering me.

My access route is support.mozilla.org; it doesn't ask for a PW so it seems to know me... and I didn't see a "logout" option either.

(Not sure where to post this comment... suggestions? comments?)

Today, for the first time in at least a year, I used Chrome on my laptop and did a side-by-side comparison with Firefox 68... WOW. Chrome is At Least one order of magnitude quicker than Firefox 68... possibly 2 (couldn't measure accurately/definitively from one test case).

I've always been a Firefox booster, but this was *striking*.

(Of course Chrome doesn't have the rich selection of add-ons, but this was truly remarkable... and none of the Firefox multi-process issues that I could see.)
