I am using Firefox 76.0.1

I can no longer log in to my sse.co.uk account. The page just shows loading for ever.

I have tried: using standard security settings and disabling all add-ons.

I can also no longer log in to myus.com account. The page just returns to the login page.

I have tried using standard security settings and disabling add-ons.

These issues only exist since update to Firefox to 76.0.1

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

As I said, I had tried disabling all add-ons. I did this by starting Firefox in Safe Mode. The problem was still there.

I also made sure nothing was being blocked by having security settings set to "Standard" as well. I tested with both Safe Mode and Standard security at the same time, and the problem was still there.

I don't know what else to try.

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.

You can create a new profile as a quick test to see if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
