Hello!

No. You can't open anything from the bookmark from the already pinned tab.

"Pin Tab" means that the tab will stay pinned meaning that you can't change the tab via bookmarks but you can still change what you're browsing within that tab.

For example: If you have a pinned tab then you cant open a bookmark on that tab. You can, however, still change what you are browsing within that tab that you've pinned. Lets say that you're on YouTube, then you can't go to Facebook by clicking on it via a bookmark. But you can still SEARCH for Facebook in that pinned tab.

Note that you can set browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInTabs = true on the about:config page to open a bookmark in a new tab if this tab already is in use.

You can't open a bookmark in a pinned tab, but you can possibly add the "Pin Tab" icon to the location bar as a workaround.

You can find items like "Pin Tab" and the Bookmark Star in the drop-down list that opens if you click the "Page actions" button (3-dot icon at the right end of the location/address bar). You can right-click an item in the 3-dot "Page actions" drop-down list to add its button to the location/address bar for easy access.
