Is there a way at all to recover lost Sync data. I was unaware that resetting my password completely deletes my log and all information and there was no indication or opt out option for that. I am using about Sync and I see when it was deleted but I am hoping there is some way to retrieve the information. It is a few months worth of it that I can not afford to lose. Thank you.

I am looking around on the browser and nowhere does it say anything about all your data being lost if you have to reset your password. The only place I see it is when you make a new account and you click the link at the bottom "Warum wird mehr als ein Gerät benötigt?". It isn't part of the main page, it isn't part of the e-mail you get for a verification code. It isn't something you have to tick saying you understand when making a new account.

When the competition saves your data on a cloud and can sync without a chance at losing data, I find that this is something important to let people know when they join your service and not something you put in a link out of the way. I don't get how this isn't apparent especially when users, like myself, can mess up. Hell it isn't even a notification when you are trying to connect a new device. I just don't understand why this isn't more apparent as a feature. If someone doesn't use FF on more than one device they are out of luck completely.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-your-firefox-account-password-recovery-keys On this page it says "Firefox Accounts uses your password to encrypt your data (such as bookmarks and passwords) for extra security. When you forget your password and have to reset it, this data could be erased."

When is it not erased? If it is always erased then can you say "will be erased", it is ambiguous for no reason if it is guaranteed to be erased.

It is my fault for not checking just in case, but please make this more apparent for people, or at least give people the option to be unsafe but to not lose all their data. Or give them a one time thing where they don't lose their data but never again after that. Just something to make this not happen.

Correction it is 1 year and 3 months of information that I am potentially losing. Please, can you help me. I can't afford to lose all that. Please.
