Previewing within-document links for pdfs viewed through firefox

more options

When viewing a pdf there can be links to different parts of the same pdf. Is there a way to preview these links instead of clicking them and losing my place in the pdf? Perhaps through mouseover, like if I mouseover a link to a previous paragraph in the pdf it shows me a box with a preview of where clicking that link would take me to the document?

I'm not aware of a way to preview the location. You could try:

  • click the Back button to return to your previous spot (seems to work for me in one test document)
  • right-click > Open Link in New Tab if you need to reference both parts of the documents back and forth
