Is there a way to have the old style windows menu bar? Accessing bookmarks was a one click process, with the "new & improved" interface, it's now multiple clicks to open menus and drop downs just to get to the book mark menu. Talk about over complicating the experience that worked fine before. If this is the only way it works, then it's a total fail.

Hi,

If you can't access your bookmarks and bookmark folders in Firefox, try this solution:

  1. Click on the Library 57 library icon icon on your Firefox toolbar.
  2. Click on Bookmarks, then click on Bookmarking Tools.
  3. Click on Add Bookmarks Menu to Toolbar.
    • A Bookmarks Menu Bookmark Menu icon (star on tray) icon will be added to your toolbar.
  4. Click on the new Bookmarks Menu icon. You should get the same Bookmarks Menu as in earlier Firefox versions.

Let us know if this solves the problem.

^: I don't think that it still works that way in current releases.

You can drag the Bookmarks Menu button that shows the bookmarks in a drop-down list from the Customize palette to the Navigation Toolbar. This Bookmarks Menu button has a "View bookmarks sidebar" menu item.

See "How do I add the Bookmarks Menu button to the toolbar?"
