This is done by setting the environment variable DRI_PRIME=1 in my .profile file and rebooting. I also made the following settings to Firefox's '''about:config''' layers.acceleration.force-enabled true gfx.webrender.all true After reboot I get a lot of flicker on Firefox and a lesser amount on Thunderbird. The image below flickers on and off the screen for 1-4 seconds. No such flickering occurs on Chrome browser. Is there any way to fix this flickering ?
