The previous posts are similar but when I have a tab that won't close the address bar has Search bookmarks and history in it not the web page address and disabling any add on cures it temporarily and then re enabling it next time the tab won't close works but only for a little time, it's been happening every 2 - 3 sessions since.

I have been watching the responses from others with this problem and read about "Invisible hand" and disabled it a week ago and fingers crossed - it's worked no unclosable tabs since.
