I have a MacBook and last week Apple's latest "software update" included a Java update. Since then, I am unable to use any Java apps on Firefox , as well as Chrome. They only seem to work on Safari. Firefox is my browser of choice! After several hours with Apple, including re-installing my OS, Apple told me that perhaps their latest update is not supported by Firefox? They of course, only support Safari, yuck. Have you all been experiencing this issue the last few days? The Java update was released on 6/27 from Apple. Thanks for your help, I love Firefox! Btw, my OS is Mac OSX 10.5.8

Apple has removed support for the Java Plugin2 with the latest Java Update 10 for OS X 10.5 Java version, so the Java plugin is no longer available for Firefox versions and other browsers like Google Chrome that require the Java Plugin2.
