how do I allow firefox to allow most content to be shown?
pop up from firefox frequently says that application prevented from being shown and I am prompted to allow or disallow. How do I increase standards to allow more to be allowed?

The popup setting is Block pop-up windows in Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Content. You can also try to add Exceptions (on the right) for frequently visited and trusted sites. Options > Content
