I need to install Firebug, silently, for all users with FFox v11. How do I do this?
I can install Firefox v11 silently but need Firebug to go with it. I can't find a way to install Firebug silently and have it available to all users. My test install (manual process) has Firebug available only for the current user, not ALL users. Help!!

Anyone?
Did you try to copy the Firebug extension to the extensions folder in the Firefox installation folder?
Easiest is to copy the Firebug folder or XPI file with the Firebug ID from a Firefox profile folder to get the right name.
Thanks for your reply cor-el. It's great to see people assisting those in need. Speaking of 'in need' I need help!! After much hair pulling and screaming at my PC I still can't get this to work. I have installed Firefox v11, copied the .xpi file to a users directory according to the instructions from your link but still, nothing. No Firebug. Firefox is installed but Firebug will only start for the user that installed it. Help!!
Does at least the Firebug extension show on the about:addons page as disabled to verify that Firefox found the extension?
No, I checked that, it is not there. Once you log on as another user, there is no trace of it!!
