When I click on the "download" movie option in apple movie trailers, nothing happens. Before, a movie would open in a different window and play.

Hi bjacobs,

Just to confirm I have attached a screenshot. Is this what you are trying to download?

Does it work using Safari or other browsers?

The movies are just mov files. These should play in quick time. Please check that you have the latest version of quick time installed. Also check the following article and follow the steps: Use the QuickTime plugin to play audio and video

I hope that helps. Let me know if not.

It works in Safari, and I have the latest version of quicktime installed.

Have you got the quicktime plugin installed?

If so please try clearing the cache and deleting any cookies related to that website. Please see these articles:

How to clear the Firefox cache

If those don't help please also confirm whether the website works in safe mode?

Okay, deleted the cookies for apple movie trailers...no difference.

Cleared the cache...no difference

Ran Firefox in safe mode...no difference, still can't download the movies to watch.

And quicktime is version 7.7.1; Firefox is 12; mac os is 10.7.4
