there's an error with twitter, normally, when there's a new message arrive, there's a notification "1 new message" show at the twitter user's timeline. also in the title bar (at the top of the brower's) it also show "1 new message". this notification should display both inside the webpage and the title bar.

but now this notification do not automatically update itself.

which means when there's a new message arrive, the notification do not display automatically.

if i want to read the new arrived messgae i need to press the reload button of the browser

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (MAC)

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.
