I used to have an old addon called GlassMyFox that gave FF an "Aero" look. I removed it now but FF still has the Aero look and it's annoying! Everything is transparent/quasi-transparent and if I try to use a persona it just messes it up because of the transparency of toolbar buttons, I can't see them properly. This is what it looks like: http://oi47.tinypic.com/33z3g55.jpg The toolbar button borders are also gone and I can't find how to make it look how it used to... I tried uninstalling/reinstalling FF and not using Sync but the problem is still there... Help please?

Hello,

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.
