I have closed and opened TB multiple times, but each time I open it, not all of the displays come up, including tabs, menu options, folders, and email messages. I am afraid that if i restart my compute or download TB again, I will lose everything, which is not an option. Is there any way to restart my current TB and get back the full displays? Thanks.

To reveal hidden tool bars in most applications, Thunderbird included, press the alt key. Then from the Menu Bar that appears select View-Toolbars and turn the missing tool bars back on.

If you are missing the Folder Pane down the left margin of the window you select View-Layout-Folder Pane.

Thunderbird, for the most part, remembers what your screen looked like when you closed it and will reopen just like that next time. Once this happens you can close and reopen, reboot and un-install and re-install all you want and it will not change.
