Method not working Form.submit()

more options

I am working on financial project on which we have JSP's to be loaded on browser. We have few buttons on that screen (e.g Save, Back, New Entry, Add Insturment) on which on click of all other buttons codde works proper except Clicking on "Add Instrument Button".

When we click on Add Insturment button and debug we found that browser reads out those all the lines even after the statement below.
        	objFrm.action = "getDetailBO.action";

objFrm.submit();

Where objForm is

var objFrm = document.getElementById("frmMain");

but this happens when new record is entered and the action which I mentioned earlier "getDetailBO.action" that gets assigned to form .After that if I click on any other button e.g Save or Back this action gets executed "getDetailBO.action" and form gets forwarded to detail entry screen.

Is there any error noted in the Browser Console (Ctrl+Shift+j) after clicking the button? I suggest using Clear in the console before testing, since duplicate errors may be hard to spot otherwise.

Could you try using a full URL and see whether that fixes it?
