Firefox crashes a lot when I click on a link to visit another page, open a picture, or try and watch a video. The crashing started a few weeks ago and then I was able to download the Firefox 10 version and the crashing stopped until tonight. I have tried all of the steps on the support page after a few crashes every time I tried to click the support tab. Are there any other ways to keep Firefox from crashing or am I just going to have to use a different browser?

Hey Kaleigh,

Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Hold down "shift" while Firefox is starting up. If the crash doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should read Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.

There is also a lot of useful stuff in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) Knowledge Base article. If you've recently upgraded, you might want to check out this article as well.

Hopefully this helps!
