Firefox is moving main text body down for the www.mndnr.gov site (see page http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/forestry/education/index.html) The main banner and text appear below the navigation box on the left. Also images within the CMS we use is displaying blurry. It is only happening on this computer. MAC OS 10.5.8. FireFox is 7.0.1. I have tried deleting and reinstalling FireFox. No change. What is really weird it is only happening on the work computer. The computer at home is fine. Other browsers work great. It's only FireFox that this is happening with. I have been trying to solve this with no luck.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues like you described.

  • Firefox > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
  • Firefox > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

Thank you very much!!! If you were here you would have me say. "Oh my God". I can't believe it was as simply as Zoom>Reset. I have rebuild my system preferences several times. Uninstalled and installed Firefox several times and it was the zoom causing the problem.

O.K. answer me this. How come when I uninstalled and installed Firefox I still had the same problem? Is the view profile storage somewhere else in the OS?

Thank you again. I can now return to using Firefox as my main browser. You rock.
