I don't see where a screen shot would help me get my emails for [email address removed by moderator]. the only screen I get when I start "thunderbird" is the inbox for [email address removed by moderator]. I cannot access my inbox or my archives. thank you for showing me how to get the "from" column on my wife's in box. Robert Finch.

Computers are just like giving driving directions. If I do not know where you are starting I cannot tell you how to get there. If you think you know best then I cannot help you. Maybe someone else wants to try to guess your issue .

If I understand correctly, your inbox appears in the left pane, but no messages are showing. Correct? Are you getting a specific error message? What exactly does it say?

my inbox does not appear at all but my wife's inbox appears where my inbox and archives used to appear but cannot be accessed or displayed at all. robert finch

If you go to Tools > Account Settings, is your account still among those listed? Is it POP3 or IMAP?
