I used to be able to open links in a new tab and have them only load when I clicked on them, but after a reset they now load when as soon as I click new tab. I prefer the original as I used to scroll down when searching/watching videos and open as many tabs as I'd like, have them only load when I clicked that tab, read/watch and then delete each one as I found this easier than open new tab, read/watch it, then go to original page and repeat.

Does anyone know how to make it return to the way I originally had it?

Please and thank you.

Were you using any add-ons you no longer have? A reset removes all extensions and user settings.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

I didn't have any addons that did something like this. And I've just tried safemode now and still doesn't do what originally happened.
