Is there a way to configure the browser to always print multiple copies? (this will work side-by-side with print.always_print_silent)

I am attempting to determine how to configure my browser to print multiple copies of the same document when received in our webapp. I have it setup to print a single page automatically without flaw but I want to be able to print multiple copies and i'm not sure how to do that with print.always_print_silent enabled.

I've never heard of print.always_print_silent.. have you found any documentation on how it works?

Let's assume that it uses Firefox defaults; that probably won't work for you. Can you define a new "printer" (i.e., second Windows printer pointed at the same physical device) that has the 2 copies embedded in the driver settings and make that your default printer?

To my knowledge _print_silent allows you to bypass the print dialog and automatically submits the print job. I've considered adding a "new" printer but I won't have access to modify the drivers on all of the systems I need to implement it on. It will definitely work on my local machine though, and will probably go that route until I can find a more suitable solution.

In regards to the documentation on _print_silent I have not been able to find any definitive information on it.
