Connection to BT servers
Hi, I'm using Thunderbird to connect to the mail.btinternet.com server via POP and have suffered a repeated failure to connect (wrong password and/or email address). I can access the BT web client using the same credentials but Thunderbird stubbornly refuses to make the connection. Port number are default (995/465) and all emails and passwords are correct. Is anyone else having these same issues particularly with the recent "update" of BT's web client.? Spoken with BT tech support who, whilst helpful, unsurprisingly, kicked this back onto Thunderbird. Any advise/guidance would be appreciated...

Might be BT's problem, as they seem to have a lot of outages.
