Hi. I have an account that I keep, but now disabled from connecting to a server. (disabled by unchecking the 'check for new messages every' box) Emails to this account are redirected to a different account, then in the program are sent to the disabled account. I know that sounds complicated, but it's the only way I could get it to work when I changed hosting. Anyway, this all worked fine for over two years. Then after the last upgrade, my disabled account sporadically tries to check for emails even though it shouldn't. I tried removing the old server information, but I get an error and the old server info remains. Please is there a workaround for this?

There is no such thing an a disabled account, particularly an IMAP account.

If I've configured the account not to check for emails, surely that's disabling it? Anyway, that's what I've done, but the program still checks for email and pops up an error every time it does.
