Are you talking about Firefox browser or Thunderbird email client.

You have posted in the Thunderbird Support Forum.

If Thunderbird and you have received an email with jpg image as attachment, try this: Menu icon > Options > Attachments > 'Incoming' tab Content Type: JPG file (image/jpeg: , jpg) Action: From drop down select 'Use TWINUI (default)' click on 'OK'

'TWINUI'. This refers to the windows 10 shell and chooses the system default application for the file type.
