The dot which goes back and forth on a tab while a page is loading stopped working. A page will still load but I have no idea when. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it that didn't work.I tried the troubleshoot mode nothing there helped.....I downloaded the latest update.....still no help....I've never seen this before and I've been using firefox since it's beginning. There's only a hourglass shaped icon in the tab now.

Hi, is this on Linux, Mac, or Windows?

Firefox switches to the hourglass if it detects that you have a system-level preference for reduced motion (reduced animations). Does that sound like a possible recent change to your setup?
