I am a 85 year old man with no divices that need a synch. Please remove it from my computer a it splits my screen. I was not asked it I want it and I do NOT want it. Please take me back to where I was before you decided to help me. Thanks Paul Budak euclid44123@yahoo.com
I have no idea what you are looking for, as I said you put me here so I have to assume you know what you wre doing.

Hi Paul, could you describe the steps leading up to the split screen?
Two thoughts for now:
(1) Firefox has a sidebar that can show Bookmarks, History, Sync'd tab, or add-on panels. You can close the sidebar. See: Use the Firefox Sidebar to access bookmarks, history and synced tabs.
(2) To stop using Sync if you already signed in, you can disconnect. See this article: Disable Firefox Sync.
