Are those notices from the browser, or from websites?

Websites: Nothing can be done as it's a website issue.

Browser: Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar. Under Advanced, Select Update.

[v56+]; Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Select Update.

Check the settings. "Do Not Check For Updates."
