since 9.11.11 two days ago, toolbars have disappeared. Its so annoying and I do not know how to correct the fault. Funny that its happening with firefox not IE. Can I sort it?

As I reply to this email, there is no advert, no pop up, nothing except the txt boxes provided for me to give details of my problem. the whole screen is white from top to bottom. the bottom icons just like the top toolbars have all disappeared. For me to get out of this screen, I have to search blindly for the back arrow at the top of my laptop. Its 2 dys since this started. i did not instal or change anything at all for a long time now
