Spell checking dictionaries at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/language-tools/ are developed by third parties, submitted to Mozilla for examination/testing and put on the list. Not all languages are available on that list.

Other dictionary sources can be found here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Dictionaries
There is a Swedish dictionary on the mozdev link under "Sources".

You need to extract the two dictionary files (sv_SE.aff and sv_SE.dic) in the dictionaries folder in the ooo_swedish_dict_1.44.oxt ZIP archive and copy them to the dictionaries folder in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\)
