On any FoxNews.com page that has--should have--a video, no video object (FlashPlayer?) appears. This is a new Win 8 Pro computer. FlashPlayer (32-bit) is installed, and works on all the other webpages I've opened (and on FoxNews.com, in IE). I tried re-loading the FN pages, cleared the bullers, changed Permissions (allow images, add-ns...), but none of these made a difference.

Hello DickB19, are you sure you have installed FlashPlayer plugin ?, in your system details there are only 2 plugins installed, Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 11.0.03 & Microsoft Silverlight 5.1.20125.0 !

can you confirm that ?

thank you

Ideato, sorry to take so long getting back to you (I'm setting up a new PC; old one died, suddenly).

Once I downloaded the Adobe Flash Player, and cleared the Cookies (and the Cache) for the website that I was having the reported problem on, the problem was solved.

Interestingly, FF does NOT list AFP as one of my Add-Ons I currently show Adobe Acrobat (11...), Quick Time Plug-In (7.0.3.), Shockwave Flash (11.7...), and Silverlight Plug-in (5.1...)
