I have been having trouble clicking on Aweber trackable links.

I get emails with text that has been embedded with a link to a web page. An example would be "Click Here" to read more. When I click on them, I always get the message:

"Unable To Connect. Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at clicks.aweber.com."

It is only the Aweber links I can't open...all other links work. And, I have always used FireFox with no problems. About 6 months ago I started having this problem with just the Aweber links.

Even if the text that has been made hot is the actual link, I have to copy and paste it into FireFox...the link still won't work.

Can you tell me how to fix this?

Hi rmeserve,

Thank you for contacting Mozilla Support. So far I read that there is an issue with links that have been generated from click.aweber.com, and it worked in the past.

One way to check if it is a cache and cookies issue is to try the link in a private window or on another computer. If this resolves the issue, clear the private data from the browser. Warning, this will clear browsing history and private data. How to clear the Firefox cache

If the link still does not work on another computer, please check how the links are created, in the knowledge base for clicks.aweber.com. it looks like the links need "http://" in front.

To make sure that the links are not being blocked locally, it is also possible to check local firewalls Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet and loading specific websites Firefox and other browsers can't load websites

Please let us know how this goes and we are happy to help.
