For people missing their bookmarks on the latest version of yahoo toolbar , I actually received a response from Yahoo today.

"Hi , We are aware that some users are unable to access their bookmarks in the Yahoo Toolbar. Our engineers are working on a fix to restore this functionality as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience." So,this is not a Firefox problem. FYI.

This has been reported before. I also saw a report that recently the Yahoo site and the Mozilla site were offering different versions, but both versions were flawed.

I don't suppose Yahoo were able to point you to any official announcement or Yahoo bug report etc

(Someone else has already tagged this question with bug 1131604 )

Thanks for your "FYI (For Your Information) post.

Since you wrote yourself that this is not a Firefox problem I'll tag this thread as "offtopic" for Firefox support.

Please sort it out ???It's just a basic useless toolbar!

A problem Yahoo is apparently working on. So you would do better asking on some Yahoo site, and then providing the link to any Yahoo discussion, announcement or bug report.

I've closed this thread as off-topic, based on the above.
