duplicate emails
One of our customers, using Mozilla Thunderbird, geneller@frontiernet.net called in complaining about getting duplicate emails messages. Do you have a fix for this? I cannot see any duplicates in her Frontier webmail account but she claims that some of her messages have been sent back to her inbox over 100 times and she is tired of having to re-delete everything she has just deleted. Thank you for your assistance.

The usual solution is that something interferes with the download such that Thunderbird cannot sign it off as having completed, so it attempts again at the next connection.
Possible causes:
- improperly formatted or structured message
- AV software
We normally advise going to the webmail site to delete it.
