What I wanted to do is ask the above question (When will I get back my Yahoo Toolbar which you disabled?) to Mozilla (Firefox) itself and not this community. So maybe somebody in the community can direct the question to them for me. I feel totally lost, I'm not computer savvy, so I would welcome some help. Thanks

Hi, It was disabled because there was some troubles with the compatibility of the new signed add on feature to make sure you are not using an unofficial add on that could be less secure.

In the last twenty four hours Yahoo has come out with a signed add on that you can download from the addons site so that it will not do that anymore.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

In some cases, users have reported that they can enable an extension for the duration of their session, but when they exit and restart Firefox it is disabled again. So they have to repeat the process again.

One possible explanation is a corrupted settings file which has mixed information on the source of the extension (e.g., old Yahoo website vs. Mozilla Add-ons site). If you find yourself having to repeatedly enable the bar for each session, please let us know so we can describe how to clear the extension settings files.
