So my firefox was running a bit slow so i decided to do a refresh/reset. It worked fine and firefox runs great again. The only problem now is that i cant download any files. If i click a download link its like firefox tries to open the link and then nothing happens. No where do you want to save this file to comes up. And if i set it to a specific folder it wont work either. But if i click save link as it works. Like a site like this: https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard after a few seconds it tries to download the file but dosent. if i click the download button nothing happens. Its like it opens a window that gets closed right away. If i right click and save the link it works. Its all links that does this. I have nothing that blocks it. Like no zone alarm. I am only using windows defender in windows 10 as an antivirus program and i have tried to disable that to see if that changed anything. But no. It worked before the reset no problem. I have tried all the stuff in the firefox wont download help thing on mozillas support site. I have tried to disable block pop up windows in settings and block dangerous files from being downloaded in settings. Nothing of it has helped. So does any of you have any idea what to do? Its firefox 48.0.2 so latest version :)

Yes as i write above i have tried all in this: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_save_or_download_files and i write: If i right click and save the link it works. So right click and save works. its just the clicking the link or the automatic start of download that does not work. And right click and save works yes but not on all links. Some download links you cant do that with. So i have to get normal download to work.
