Firefox just downloaded the latest update on my PC and I would like to know what folder it was downloaded to so that I can copy the file to a USB flash drive. I would like to do the copy/transfer so that I can install/run it on my laptop rather than have to download the file again. I'm on a data plan so waste not, want not!

Of course, this is all contingent on the update being a self-extracting executable so if that's the case, please just tell me...

Minor updates to fix security issues and other issues are small downloads that have a .mar (Mozilla Archive) format and thus do not take up much space. If you skip an update then you would have to download and install a full version. Such .mar update files are removed once the update has been applied.

You can see the file sizes of the 32 bit Firefox update for Windows on this web page:

You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (50.0.2) in all languages and all operating systems here:
