after savingimages with the right click save image as option the window becomes transparent so that you don't see it anymore also the browser stops reponding so need to close it through taskmanger and restart it.

tried disabeling addons. Tried safe mode. using windows 7 ultimate ff 50.10

Have you tried turning off Hardware acceleration in Firefox (even though it does not seem to be supported on your system) and updating your graphics drivers, as suggested here?
