Can't remove synced tabs from deleted synced device

I recently had to completely remove and reinstall Firefox to my PC. I had problems with the browser constantly freezing.

However when I accessed the synced tabs (after reinstalling) I realised, I had two lots of synced tabs coming from the same PC. One lot is from what was on my PC, before I removed Firefox and the other is the current tabs (on the same PC after reinstalling Firefox).

When I went to https://accounts.firefox.com/settings I saw that I had duplicate devices for my PC. I deleted all of them and then had to sign in to Firefox using my PC. I renamed my PC so as not to cause confusion with the old synced tabs. Problem is my synced tabs from before, are still showing even though I removed the device from Firefox Accounts.

I have tried syncing all my devices again but the old synced tabs won't budge even though I deleted that device. I even went to the Synced Tab Sidebar to tap on "Synchronise Now" for the "deleted" device but that also did not help.

Is there a way to remove it? Could it be something to do with my Firefox profiles?

Any help would be appreciated.

Synced tabs should expire in a bout 7 days, so you wait to see if that works.

When you used - https://accounts.firefox.com/settings - did you change your Password to "flush" your data from the Sync server?

That will only delete your data from the Sync server, it won't touch the data on any of your devices that are connected to that Sync account.

No I didn't, but I just tried that now and that old synced tab is still there.

I'll try that, and then come back with the results. Thanks
