when I save image it no longer is showing in my photos or anywhere on my Android tablet
When I save an image from various search engines the pics are no longer in my pictures/gallery. I used to save image and they would be there. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. It didn't help. I have searched everywhere on my Android tablet for the pics. I own various Facebook groups and need these pics! Please help!

Is the saved image listed on your Firefox Downloads list?
menu > Tools > Downloads
No it is not
I'm not sure whether the problem is that it didn't really save, or that somehow downloads got cleared. ??
What method do you use to save images: long press?
Yes a long press until option box pops up.I can save pics from Facebook pics but not from web
