Since my latest update of Firefox I have been unable to access Paypal, receiving the following using Firefox in the User Agent Switcher.

You don't have permission to access "http://www.paypal.com/" on this server. Reference #18.3d76d317.1534439287.cda62859

When I change to Chrome in the User Agent Switcher, I have no problem accessing Paypal.

That's interesting. The

usually indicates that a web-based device or service has blocked access to the site to protect it against suspicious traffic or from a denial of service attack coming from particular IP addresses. It usually clears up within a few hours. I haven't heard of it being specific to particular user agent strings before.

Does it make any difference if you use the secure home page address (the address in your original question needs to redirect):

https://www.paypal.com/us/home

https://www.paypal.com/us/home allows access for Chrome but denies access for Firefox in the User-Agent extension.

I can't explain that.

Does your User Agent switcher extension let you choose an earlier version of Firefox, or Firefox on Windows? If so, does that make any difference?

After contacting PayPal and further testinging, I've determined that It's an issue with User-AgentSwitcher. Once the extension is removed, access is no longer denied when Firefox is used.
