Are you using an ad blocker like uBlock Origin?
Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.
Make sure you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Popups aren't a firefox problem but the site or links your going to that is causing that. For the example your saying porn popups is indicating going to Adult sites or related that is connected to such servers that is why your getting those popups. You can use adblockers but then you have to configure those assuming they can block those sites as well. So at this point in time one should stop going to such sites if they want to avoid those popups or contact the WebMaster and report the issue to their site.
This pages lives from ads and continue redireting to even meanning less pages as one like the google G logo, is just to nag you. What found is that if capture first web address before re-direct and block their cookies I still get the page but in blank no any more unwanted fotos or pages.
I still think that something can be done, because in Mac products this problem doesn't occurs, at least I haven't epiriece it.
Thanks you
ps. offcourse is not ff problems
