How do you access YouTube. It is blocked. I have a lot of tools there that I use for my work.

I need to be able to get into YouTube for my work. Neither Safari or Firefox will let me in. I have tried Private windows, disable all of my blocking extensions etc. Granted the site is not perfect! But I do need what is there. How do I get Firefox to letme in?

Are you possibly using a VPN or proxy?

You can check the connection settings.

  • Options/Preferences -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":

I have turned off all AV/Malware apps. Running Sophos Home. I tried to enter an exception to allow YouTube to load but when the certificate was checked Firefox said that it was valid and would not let me set the exception. See screenshot. But when I tried to import the certificate to my key-chain I got a totally different response...see screenshot. I have no clue what is going on. All of the suggestions today have been great but have not worked.

I am going to drop the issue now and pursue another avenue. It i a waste of my time now and you folks time too.
