I cannot open PDF files from Firefox for Android

I can't open PDF files from Firefox for Android. When I try to open one, the Google PDF reader opens for half a second in blank and closes. I tried with an open source PDF reader too, PDF Viewer Plus from F-Droid, and when I open a PDF file with this app, the document doesn't load — it stays blank too.

When I try on ProtonMail client and Brave browser both PDF reader apps work.

The Android PDF.js extension works but it isn't optimal.

Just found that the Nightly version works, but the problem remains in the stable one
