I've tried to get a solution to this many times without success. Using Thunderbird version 10.2.10.0. No matter how many times I set the column sizes and try to save them to a folder, the columns reset back to what they were. When I choose which items I want to be displayed in the column list, the choices do not stick. When I exit T'dbird, all of the changes are discarded. This has been a problem for a very long time. Doesn't anyone have a solution? Extremely frustrating.

Given those setting are stored in the sessions file and third party products are known to delete it for your "privacy" I think look at what security and optimization software you have installed. ccleaner for instance is one known to me to delete the file unless you tell it Thunderbird is not it's plaything. I doubt it is the only product to do this, but it certainly gets more air time here than any other.

Thanks for your message, Matt. I am using WiseCare 365. I put a number of files in the Exclusion section, even putting C:\Users file in there. The Drafts folder columns do not stick. Trying to get some help from WiseCare.
